The Music Garden Forest Playgroup offers children a wonderfully rich nurturing environment where they learn about themselves, each other and their world through nature-rich, play-based exploration in Prospect Park. Seasonal craft activities further develop the children's relationship with nature whilst the sessions are enhanced with live music, movement and puppets.

Will re-commence Spring 2018 as Literacy Arts Workshops
Through play and exploration, the children develop autonomy, confidence, creativity and imagination, while learning about sharing, resolving conflict, taking risks and role-modelling. Since it is play-based, the teachers facilitate rather than direct learning opportunities. The daily rhythm of the mornings provides structure and security for the children. The teachers bring to the playgroup their knowledge of and experience in Forest School education, Waldorf education, Reggio Emilia philosophy, environmental science and the arts.
